Look, I'll admit it, I don't make nearly as much money as I would like to. I've made some poor decisions (why the hell did I buy a $15,000 truck? The next four years of my life are now pretty restricted!).
Regardless, money issues are real issues. So are copyright issues. You may be wondering, how can I protect my material from someone who may just blatantly steal it for their own?
Well, this is a real problem. How does Dead Ghost get around it?
Actually, listen up, this is a huge step in the right direction. For anyone in despair that their art will be stolen, there is a way for some legal and free steps to protect your art. It's actually quite simple.
E-Mail yourself a file of your art, music or what have you, and leave it. DO NOT OPEN said e-mail. When it's contested whether something is yours or not, you can pull up your unopened e-mail and have quite the claim. You see, it will be dated, from yourself, and NOT tampered with (that's why you don't open the e-mail).
Cool, right?
Granted, it's not full-proof... fool proof? How the hell does that saying go?
Anyway, it's not perfect, but it's definitely a step to helping you protect what's yours.
Thanks for reading, and as always.
I'm Mike. From Dead Ghost.
